PLEASE NOTE: This policy is for online purchases only and does not apply to in store purchases. 

We offer Returns for ONLINE STORE CREDIT, for most Tuxedos, Suits, Men's Accessories and Formal Dresses.
Store Credit can be used to purchase a different size or style if the size you originally ordered does not suit your needs or a different product all together.   There will be a 10% Restocking Fee applied to Returned Items. 

The Customer has 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return through our website. Customer will need login to their account, or create an account with the same email they provided at check out, to see purchase history and request a Return. Store credits will be associated with that email address and account. Store Credits are non-transferable, but will not expire.

Items being returned must arrive back at our location (Formalwear Outlet 415 Millstone Drive Hillsborough NC 27278) within 7 calendar days from the date the Return Request is Approved.  Please be advised the Customer will be responsible for all shipping costs. We do not provide return shipping labels.

The following must apply to for a Return to be processed:
1) The item must be in the same condition as purchased.
2) The item must not have been altered in any way.
3) The item must have all tags and hanging straps attached.
4) The item must be packaged and returned in the original product packaging as it arrived to you.
5) The Item must not be on our Excluded List:  Jewelry, Bras, Body Tape, Socks and Items Designated as Final Sale.

Please do not return an item without contacting us first and receiving Return Approval. Orders returned without approval or that are marked as undeliverable will be subject to a 50% Restocking Fee in addition to the cost of shipping that the customer paid at the time of purchase.

If upon receiving your order you find that we have made a mistake please accept our apology and notify us within 3 days so that we can correct it for you as quickly as possible. 

Order Cancellations Policy

Customers who purchase on our website have the ability to automatically initiate an order cancellation within one hour of the initial transaction. After such time we cannot guarantee cancellation before the order is processed and shipped. After an order has shipped any changes will fall under the  Exchange Policy.
