Formalwear Outlet in Hillsborough is a family owned and operated business offering the largest selection of Men’s and Women’s Formal Attire in the Carolinas. Siblings Matt Pinkston and Elizabeth Sawyer manage the day to day operations of the company their father started over 40 years ago.
New Suits and New and Used Tuxedos for Sale
Formalwear Outlet opened in Daniel Boone Village in Hillsborough in the fall of 1998. As word got out about our tuxedo specials and the business grew we knew that we needed a new location with more room to grow. We moved to our current location at 415 Millstone Drive in Hillsborough in January 2003.

Over the last 20+ years we have become a destination location for prom shoppers and wedding couples throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
